2018 AGM CFFF Directorship Changes

The 2018 Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation AGM took place in Ottawa, ON September 10th resulting in the following changes to its directorship.

The 2018 Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation AGM took place in Ottawa, ON September 10th resulting in the following changes to its directorship.

After 10 years in the position of President and 15 years on the board, CFFF President Robert Kirkpatrick announced his retirement from the board. The CFFF would like to extend its sincerest thanks to Captain Robert Kirkpatrick for his dedication to moving the CFFF forward to where it is today.

As a result of President Kirkpatrick's retirement from the board, current Secretary David Sheen was subsequently nominated as the new President and acclaimed to the position. Congratulations go out to out new President David Sheen.

David Sheen's vacated position of Secretary has beeen filled by Dr. Lori Gray. Congratulations and welcome to the CFFF Executive.

After 12 years as LODD Application Committee Chair, Wayne Jasper has stepped down from this position and the role of LODD Application Committee Chair will now be assumed by Saskatchewan Area Director Charles Olsen.  Wayne will remain on the board as a Director at Large.

Volunteer Fire Services representative Martin Bell has also stepped down from this position on the board. The CFFF would like to welcome Martin's replacement District Chief Carl Pearson (Thorold, ON) as the new Volunteer Fire Services Representative.

CFFF Director at Large Arnold Lazare has been appointed to the new position of Aboriginal Fire Service Representative.
