The Corporation of the City of Brampton with its employees are committed to supporting the community and fostering social responsibility. The City’s Employee Fundraising Campaign (EFC) is tasked with raising funds for organizations within the community that truly make a difference in people’s lives. In 2015, the EFC ran a series of events and programs to support 4 different charitable organizations including the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The event roster included: food festivals, a chocolate challenge, a casual dress day plan, a pancake breakfast, a community car wash, and many more. These events united city staff with local businesses and residents to successfully support and give back to our community.

The City of Brampton and its Fire & Emergency Services has always been a big supporter of the CFFF and acted as honorary host in Ottawa in 2009. The BFES honour guard has always assisted in the operation of the annual ceremony and other CFFF events around Ontario. Thanks again to the City of Brampton for their continued support which allows the Foundation to carry on its family support programs!
