The funeral for air tanker pilot William Hilts, who died fighting a forest fire near Cold Lake, AB on May 22, 2015 will be held in Markdale, ON, Saturday July 18 at 2pm.

A visitation with family will precede the memorial service from 12-1:45 in the church. Members of Fire Service honour guards wishing to assist at the service and general uniform ranks planning on attending are asked to contact the CFFF at admin@cfff.ca in order to anticipate numbers. A reception following the service is planned.
