The 2024 Canadian Firefighter Memorial Ceremony will be held in Ottawa at the Canadian Firefighter Memorial on the 8 September at 10:30 AM. The 2024 Honorary Host will be the Canadian Volunteer Fire Services Association.

The Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation conducts the memorial ceremony along with each years Honorary Host to Honour, Remember and Support Canada’s fallen firefighters and their families through several initiatives including scholarships benefiting their children and spouses. The CFFF relies heavily on funding from various efforts such as this and are grateful for the support received. The Foundation’s directors, who volunteer their time, include members from all areas of the Canadian Fire Service as well as representatives from the business community.
