Story
Allan, better known as Allie to his friends and family, was a dedicated firefighter who usually went above and beyond to help his fellow firefighters and community. He served for 40 years starting in 1975, serving as captain and assistant fire chief over the years. His department also had Santa come to the fire station at Christmas and he would willingly volunteer to be Santa. Allan was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who drove his kids and grandkids to clubs and games. He was a mentor to many of the younger firefighters who looked up to him. He will forever be remembered for his big boisterous laugh which showed his love e for life. Allan loved being on the fire department and died doing what he loved. Allan is survived by his wife Sharon, daughter Kelly (Paul), son Kirk (Stacey), and grandchildren Taylor, Denver, Riley and Madison.
Firefighter Allan Kennedy died a few hours after attending a fire on October 17, 2015.
