William (Bill) H. Clarke

Family Memories

Bill was with the city of Saskatoon Fire Department for 37 years from January 1958 to August 1995. His dedication and leadership led to being promoted to Captain June 1, 1986. He enjoyed family time with his wife Ruby, his daughter, his two sons, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He enjoyed time at the family cabin which he built with his son in law, watching NASCAR, baseball, and hockey.

He volunteered - coaching hockey for his son’s hockey teams as they were growing up, which was a passion of his. Bill was always there to help with any of the grandchildren: taking them to dance classes, school, and hockey games.

In July of 2020 he was diagnosed with leukemia that was a result of a work-related illness. He is deeply missed by all of his family, never forgotten and always in our hearts.
