Edward P. Jordan (1957 – 2022), Portage la Prairie MB Fire Department

”Ted” worked part-time for the Portage la Prairie Fire Department for 26 years. He absolutely loved his job, whether it was training to sharpen his skills, fighting many huge fires, attending accidents or supporting their local social committee. He always gave 110% to get the job done.

Ted was a fun-loving family man with an infectious personality and wacky off the cuff sayings, jokes and stories that kept everyone in stitches with laughter. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, birder, golfer, curler, farmer, and a skilled stain glass creator. And as busy as he was, he always found time to give a helping hand to whoever may need it. Ted is missed but never forgotten by his wife, son, daughter, brother, sister and their family and friends.
