Lieutenant Brian James Morgan

Quesnel Volunteer Fire Department BC

Lieutenant Morgan died from a work-related illness on the 19 May 2023. He joined the fire department in June 1991. He acquired the rank of Lieutenant in 2005.

Family Memories

Brian loved his family above all else. He was a great partner to Shelley. He was father and raised Ashley, Christopher, and Jason. He was Papa to six grandchildren. Brian taught us many life lessons but his courage and long battle with illness showed so much bravery. He always made holidays special and memorable. Brian wasn’t one to sit idle, he always had a project or goal to work on. His motto was “always be moving forward”. He enjoyed stock car racing, golf, camping and in winters enjoyed snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Brian was a very motivated person, always learning about something and finishing his projects.

Brian was very proud to be a firefighter.
