Story

John Carr was a member of the Burnaby Fire Department, joined 1 April, 1980. John sadly passed away June 19, 1998, after suffering a massive heart attack at work. He leaves behind his loving wife, family and friends.

John loved life, always searching for hidden treasures in antique stores. An exceptional athlete, he excelled in every sport.

If John wasn’t on the golf course, he was busy in the kitchen or gardening. At work he was known as “Johnny La Roux” creating sauces and gravies for interesting dinners which everyone enjoyed.

John had a heart of gold and those lucky enough to have known him were blessed by his smile and kindness.

Gone but never forgotten… miss you always and forever.
