Lawrence (Larry) Dale Andrews

Lawrence (Larry) Dale Andrews, born August 31, 1950, began his journey with the Burnaby Building Department in September 1972, and later transitioned into his career as a firefighter with the Burnaby Fire Department in August 1977. Throughout his dedicated years with Burnaby, Larry proudly rose through the ranks, retiring his career as a Captain in 2003.

Larry was a driven and caring man, loved by everyone who met him. He was an amazing husband to his wife Charene, fantastic father to his two daughters Ashley and Lexy, and a great friend. Larry cherished his time with his family and friends doing all the things he loved, including golfing, riding his motorcycle, fishing, playing cards, and going on road trips.

Peacefully, and with his wife and daughters by his side, Larry passed away from occupational cancer at his home in Cloverdale, BC.
