District Chief Alan Darling - Ottawa Fire Services

Alan joined the Ottawa Fire Service on January 27,1975 and retired in 2012. Alan passed away April 4^th 2014 of a work-related illness. He was a man with a huge heart who loved and protected his family and was proud of his career with the Ottawa Fire Services. Alan was also a volunteer for many years with Muscular Dystrophy and the CHEO foundation. Alan was a loving husband, father, brother, friend and Papa and will be forever in our hearts.
