Ron Faulkner
Firefighter
Story
Dad’s memorial
Ron or known as “chicken hawk” by his fellow firefighters was proud to be a firefighter with Mississauga for 34 years.
He lived life to the fullest and loved spending time with his family, friends and grandchildren who he loved deeply! Ron was always the first one at a party, and the last to leave. No matter where he would go, someone knew him!
On his off shifts Ron would volunteer in his community with the Georgetown Ambulance. Ron loved playing and coaching hockey and especially his son’s hockey team. He continued helping with the Junior Raiders, Hockey Heritage, and then he was the Trainer for the Toronto Maple Leafs Alumni team for over 20 years. His last dream was to make it to the outdoor Alumni Maple Leafs vs Detroit game and that he did on Jan 1, 2014 and he passed away January 29th 2014 from cancer.
Gone but not forgotten will always be missed, by family and friends!
