Story

Brian was a man who loved living. He believed and did fight for every breath until his last. His intelligence and gift to retain and share knowledge was admired by everyone who knew him.

Being a firefighter was an honour to Brian. He missed doing his job every day once he retired. Brian was most proud of our daughter, Holly, and our son, Ian. Our grandchildren brought only smiles to his face.

I was the lucky one to have known him for five years and then be married to him for 52 years. Brian wasn’t perfect but he was a generous, considerate, humble and loving human being.
