William Greig

July 29,1946- November 4, 2023

Born in Winnipeg and raised in Regina and Prince Albert, SK, Bill was with the Saskatoon fire department for 32 years and retired as a District Chief. Throughout his life Bill had a passion for music as a drummer playing in various bands ranging from marching bands to country rock bands. During his retirement, his passion continued where he played in a pipe and drum band as well as a gospel church band. Throughout retirement Bill continued to contribute to his community through volunteer work at his local RCMP detachment, local community theatre group, and his church. Bill enjoyed gardening, traveling, camping and being a good neighbour. However, Bill’s family was his first priority and true passion.

Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife Janice Greig, his sons, David (Sue) and Chad (Heather), his grandchildren, Matthew (Erin), Owen, Moyra and Jack.
