Story
Preston Heinbigner was born May 30, 1983 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to Robert and Elaine Heinbigner. He grew up on an acreage outside of Saskatoon, together with his sister Bobbi and a brother Travis. Living in the country, along with time spent at their cottage at the lake, afforded him many ‘adventures’; he loved being outdoors! Preston lived life to the fullest, genuinely loved others, and he had a contagious laugh. He made it look so easy to make friends and throughout his life people were drawn to him. He treated everyone the same: with respect and kindness.
Throughout his career as a firefighter, Preston’s philosophy was ‘Always leave people better than when you found them’. He married Shayda in 2021 and they welcomed their son Oslo into their home a year later. Preston’s deep love for others was reflected in every capacity: son, brother, uncle, husband, daddy, friend, colleague.
Always loved, always remembered.
